Keep reading for a step-by-step tutorial for deleting rows with a simple keyboard shortcut. First, you select the row you want to delete: There are several ways you can complete this; it all boils down to personal preference. 1. You can do this with the keyboard shortcut "Shift then Space bar." It is not a simultaneous press of the keys, but rather a progressive one. This will automatically select whichever row you are currently working on. 2. The second option is to select the number, hit the shift + down OR up arrow until you get to the row you desire. 3. Finally, you can simply select the first cell in the row Next,, you will click CTRL + Minus Key (-) on your keyboard: This will instantly delete whatever row you have selected. As you can see in the screenshot below, IN003 is now deleted from the sheet entirely.
