Using Microsoft 365 information protection services, the Microsoft information protection administrator designs
and implements controls that satisfy organizational information protection and governance needs. This individual
is in charge of translating technical implementation into information protection requirements and controls.
They support the implementation of technology solutions that support the policies and controls required to
adequately address regulatory requirements for their organization by offering support to information technology
(IT) personnel, business application owners, human resources, and legal stakeholders. In order to assess the
full scope of associated enterprise risk and collaborate on developing those policies, they also work with the
security and governance leadership, including a chief compliance officer, chief data officer, and security
officer.
