United Training and CertNexus Launch FREE Training Cohorts in Data Science and AI for Women Business Professionals
March is Women's History Month and it is an important time to honor and recognize women’s accomplishments in the technology industry. However, it is also a time to acknowledge that there is still much work to drive gender parity in the workplace. As of 2022, women make up only 28% of the tech industry workforce.*
"The future of technology is female," says Christine Bongard, CEO of The WIT Network. "As more women enter and advance in the technology industry, we will see a more diverse, innovative, and inclusive workforce that better serves the needs of all people."
Training is essential for women to have equal access to opportunities in the technology field. Training helps bridge gaps in skills, knowledge, and access. It can help create a level playing field for women entering the workforce and provide them with the necessary tools to be successful. Additionally, training can help develop workplace diversity and address the unconscious bias that often keeps women from achieving their full potential.
"Training is crucial for women looking to advance in technology careers, says Tiffany Wallace, Vice President of Business Development at United Training. "By investing in their skills and knowledge, women can increase their value to employers, build their confidence, and pave the way for future success."
In the spirit of ongoing support for women in tech, United Training has partnered with The WIT Network and CertNexus to launch a free two-week Data Science and AI training cohort for WIT Network members.
